No, they have a problem with witch hunts. That is exactly why I would always tell my clients not to agree to meet with law enforcement without an attorney present. And that's a much bigger consideration if they are innocent than if they are guilty.

I believe you are right. Remember Carter Paige was the focus of the FISAs and the center of the investigation and never hired a lawyer. He was supposed to be ‘stupid’ according to the democrats and yet he totally out smarted them.

The problem is any individual who remembers events differently from another individual who has testified can be construed as a witness who is lying. It’s totally and completely up to the prosecutor to decide which of the two individuals is lying. Given that Weisman, Hillary’s puppet, seems to be running the show—Trump would be an idiot to testify before the “Mueller” team. In light of a Mueller report that has apparently failed to disclose exculpatory evidence while misrepresenting evidence in way to make it appear incriminating—it was probably a very good decision to decline any invitation to testify.
