It is very important that we sign at least one of our target point guards for the 2020 class as M. Jackson will be graduating after the 20-21 season. We will need someone in the "pipeline", preferably with a year's experience, ready to take over when Jackson graduates. We can all remember some of those lean seasons where we had inadequate point guard play. It is vital to have good to great point guard play in order for a team to be successful!

Nice looking guard. He is definitely more of a SG than a PG but maybe could develop into a combo guard. Right now he is a shoot first pass second G.

In the last few days, three point guards with Toledo offers have verbally committed elsewhere, according to verbalcommits - Nijel Pack to Kansas State, Lukas Frazier to Dayton, and Mike Saunders to Cincinnati. At last we're not losing them to other MAC schools.

We have been fortunate in Tod's tenure to have 1 four-year, All MAC starting point guard in Juice Brown and one potential 4-year, All MAC starting point guard in M. Jackson! Hopefully we can recruit another one like those two in the 2020 class!
