LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – The University of Louisville football team will be the subject of a multi-episode all-access television program this fall, athletics director Vince Tyra informed the school’s athletic association board of directors on Monday.

A production company that has worked with Cardinals’ coach Scott Satterfield before approached U of L about shooting the program, to run on ESPN’s ACC Network. U of L gave its blessing this week.

The program doesn’t yet have a title. The ACC Network is scheduled to launch on August 22.

Thanks for sharing that. I'll definitely be watching/following. I'm hopeful the new network does a lot of stuff like this...promotion of the conference with this platform is of utmost priority.
Holy Crap!!!

Well everyone will see how to build a football team from scratch in the ACC if they are following us.03-lmfao We are literally on the bottom floor.03-nutkick

But should definitely be a Great Watch of Coach Satt in action!! I personally wouldn't mind it if a couple more schools did this as well this year.04-cheers
They could not air reruns of Andy Griffith?

All-access? Sweet! Wonder if we get to see where the hookers and blow are procured or just when delivered to the students...

My all time favorite show, right up there with Seinfeld and the Jeffersons. I watch those reruns over and over and still laugh as if its the first time seeing them.

I've already called Comcast demanding my MTV...errr, ACC Network I meant. Now, I'm going to call ESPN and demand Sanford & Son reruns during ACC Network mornings.

Dude ... get it right.

We save all that for our basketball program. We are a basketball school afterall.

Well ...

And baseball too.

Oh .. I think we just scored again.

If you want to be banned on the board just ask the moderators. The next thing you contribute here will be the first.

The usual anti-Louisville theme. Trolling is discouraged when it's against other teams. When it's against Louisville? Fine.

And you wonder why you can't get any new posters on your forum.
I'd love a weekly show on Dino Babers pregame and postgame locker room speeches.

I have zero problems with Louisville. I liked the basketball and baseball competition between Louisville and ND in the Big East and like the basketball games between them now in the ACC.

(ND had a very good baseball program then, but pretty much sucks now. Hopefully, ND makes a good hire after canning Mik Aoki last Saturday).

Louisville has been good in many sports over the years. I like their fans, too.

Amen to that. The second the Twerps announced their decision to leave the ACC, my mind immediately looked to UofL and hoped Swofford and the ACC school leaders would do exactly what they quickly and intelligently chose to do. No brainer in my eyes.

UofL is an upgrade over UMD and they've set the bar higher for a lot of the ACC. So very pleased the Cards are a part of the ACC.

Yep! When Maryland announced they were leaving I encouraged fans to write each school president and the ACC office demanding they replace UMd with U of L. Since then I haven't changed my mind one bit.

So, because we don't ban a poster for some mild and weak smack talk about Louisville, you conclude that being the reason we "cant get new posters on the board, in your eyes?" This board is doing fine.

1) Maybe you are way too sensitive of any criticism of Louisville. I don't like it when folks criticize SU, but I don't go around banning folks for it. Keep in mind I have been a moderator here for quite a few years, even back when an assistant coach at SU was accused of child molestation. I didn't ban or warn one person during that clown show fiasco.

#2) How do you know that things aren't being done behind the scenes? I have protected Louisville fans from enduring crap, on this board quite a bit from behind the scenes and deleted quite a few posts and warned quite a few visitor and regular posters alike. So you are just going to have to grow some thicker skin if you expect folks to get banned for some weak smack talk.
The ACCN has announced how they're going to handle three women's sports broadcasts. Soccer, field hockey and volleyball will each have dedicated broadcast "windows" each week. They've announced the broadcast schedules for the fall semester for these sports. I find the volleyball, at least, to be worth watching from time to time.

Terry -- I was in attendance for a baseball game between the Irish and Cards, where Golden Tate hit a game winning home run. Luckily, it was $1 beer night, so I wasn't too upset about the loss. Maybe my memory is faulty, but it basically seemed like the Big East baseball race was between Notre Dame and the Cards most years. Rutgers and UConn and St. John's fielded good teams too.

In fact, it seemed that many of the Big East championships came down to Notre Dame and Louisville. Turned into quite the rivalry. Men's hoops especially ... the last loss the Cards took in 2013 (before vacating them all) was a 5 OT loss at South Bend. Brutal one to experience, especially in person as my brothers can attest. Now the women's hoops teams seem to be engaged in quite the rivalry. Anyway ... I am super glad we got to renew it in the ACC.
Full disclosure, but I was hoping the ACC got creative and basically do what the AAC did with Navy as a football only member and add someone like Georgetown that had a good name in basketball while still within the ACC foot print. U of L was a close 2nd choice.
