I’m expecting us to lose by 35+ to Clemson but I still think we reach our first bowl game this year.

Two equally valid while significantly opposing thoughts come to mind.

1. First -- we all seem to think this year's Sentinel Countdown is terribly flawed, but this makes Uncle Matt look like a genius,

and...

2. Second, -- lo and behold, last year no one thought ODU could beat then 13th-ranked and four touchdown favorite Virginia Tech -- but they did.

Go figure.

Yeah, ain't gonna happen. Best case scenario we survive with enough healthy players to field a team the next week. I hope we hang tough, don't get too embarrassed, and bring home the paycheck to help build the program.
