I was thinking during the NCAA tournament how Clearwater would be a fun long weekend. Of course those ideas frequently cross my mind and then work comes into play.

I understand tickets to the tournament in Clearwater are tough to get. If anyone plans to go I recommend talking with the JMU ticket folks to see if they can help you get seats.

Glad to see video review coming, the Michigan/JMU play at 1st base may have been the catalyst.

Has a JMU sport honestly ever had a better schedule for their sport? This is fantastic. I hope we have the pitching to bring it each and every game like last year. It will be a hard act to follow.

I looked at the roster a while back and was going through it yesterday and it looks like a couple of players are no longer posted. I wonder if they had some changes over the break?

How long ago did you look at the roster? Are you referring to the 3 who entered the transfer portal? Buresh, Brown, and Lomax?

I now see Roadcap is not listed as well as LaScala.

I'm way more excited for Softball than Baseball.

My expectations between Softball and Baseball are night and day.

Roadcap was one and I think the other was a Freshman from California, but I'm not positive.

i swear i just saw her on JMU Softball twitter page over the holidays. Seemed like she was still at JMU on part of the team

if she has left, that would be a relatively recent and very surprising development. Unless she graduated in December and just decided to move on from college.

Do the girls play enough scrimmage games in the fall where they can tell if they've been overtaken on the depth chart?

isn't Roadcap one of the leaders of the team though? would just seem odd to me she'd leave her senior year and at this time of year.

Yup, local girl, starting catcher, 8 hrs, 48 rbis. Seemed like she would have started again.
