The bio on Wojo had an error. It said he led UT to its highest finish ever at the NCAA Tournament-13th. Toledo finished 4th in 1952 , one of six times it finished in the top 20.

I’ll always remember him taking off his warmups during the previous weight class match and the crowd would start chanting “Wojo! Wojo!” and the opposing heavyweight would just wilt.

About flipping time... I still remember him beating that huge 6-5 350 pound heavyweight from Iowa to win the NCAA’s...
