Offensive lineman Jacob Dean (6-9, 295) of Walled Lake (Mich.) Western High School verbally committed to Central Michigan on Monday.
A 2019 class recruit, Dean will join the Chippewas as a preferred walk-on. He also reported early (2017) scholarship offers from Michigan, Iowa State, Kent State and Ohio, as well as more recent (2018) offers from Western Michigan, Youngstown State and Morgan State.
Dean committed to Lawrence Tech in December 2018 before receiving PWO offers recently from Buffalo and CMU.
He becomes the 11th PWO in the Chippewas 2019 recruiting class, joining Walled Lake Western teammate K Aidan Jennings.
