Definitely a step up from Facebook Live. The NFL Network has slightly less viewership than ESPNU according to Wikipedia
Also something to keep in mind though....

Color me jealous
It's an improvement, but I still wouldn't trade with them. Honestly don't know if I know a single person who has NFLN.

For a point of reference the following are the amount of households (in millions) that the largest “sports specific networks” each have:
ESPN & ESPN2 85M
NFL Network 68M
ESPNU - 62
CBS Sports Network -61M

Good move for CUSA. They'll actually be on real channel for once.

Certainly not a better deal than what we have.
NFL Network that desperate for programming?

Actually yes. 5 of their shows are going off the air due to budget cuts. I bet airing self-produced CUSA content will fit with their new financial model perfectly
This is mostly a replacement for BeIn Sports' games. BeIn appears to be cratering in the US.
All 10 CUSA games to be televised on the NFL Network will be Saturday games. That's a huge plus for us with this deal since we struggle so with attendance for week night games.
Good for CUSA. I wonder who will call the games?
That'll keep the CUSA base from wanting to fire Judy into the sun for a good while.

It's a great move, imo. I think CBSSN has one year left at having the first choice of games but still has their CCG and BB champ games for a few more years. 2020 the CUSA could focus on putting all their key match ups on NFLN, then StadiumRSN/CBSSN can bid on the rest.

If they could come together as a conference and buy The First Responders Bowl (a bowl ESPN Events clearly doesn't get a ratass about) they could knock an home run.

Seriously? It's not that on a high tier of sports package for most providers. Either way though, most bars have it.

There are no bars that will be tuned in to a CUSA game on a Saturday night... except for some of the bars in CUSA cities.

I cut the cord this year but it was after the NFL season. I honestly am not sure it is offered on Youtube TV but I do not think so. I get a ton of sports channels though so maybe I am wrong.

Maybe, maybe not, but at least one could go into a place and ask that a TV or two be turned to that channel anywhere across the nation.

You definitely sacrifice eyeballs for butts in the seats. Not sure the difference in attendance on a Saturday is enough for most CUSA teams but it is nice for fans who are already supporting the programs.
Good for them . . any National TV exposure is good exposure.

Yeah.........I wouldn't bet good money on that.
