I think Shuman at GS is at least in the discussion for pitcher of the year
Freshman Ethan Wilson for USA should be a favorite for POY. He’s been incredible this year.
Our 2nd baseman Steven Curry heads the league in average at .354
I think Ethan Wilson wins player of the year.

I don't know on pitcher:
Shuman, Fidel, Reich, or Nightengale probably. Gaddis would probably be in the mix if his record wasn't 1-8 or whatever it is.
Some relievers had some pretty good years too like Zach Greene, Matt Eardensohn, and Kaleb Bowman though I doubt any had good enough years to warrant getting it over a starter.

Curry would be my 2nd choice behind Wilson.
UALR's coach needs to be coach of the year. They were in last place in the league in late March, and somehow finished 3rd overall.

Is their coaching staff from Texas? They field a lot of Texas players.
My vote certainly would go to Wilson.

As far as pitcher is concerned, the only guy in the league that dominates is Zach Greene from South Alabama. But I'm not much about giving it to relievers. I think I'd vote Shuman.

Make that 2nd overall. They are the #3 seed in the tournament, and not the #2 seed, because of the divisional leaders getting the #1 and #2 seeds regardless of records. Little Rock ended up with a conference record of 18-11. Georgia Southern ended up 18-12.

Along with Chandler Fidel of Little Rock.

No. Curry is from Conway. Sanders has ties in Texas but went to UAM. Their pitching coach is from Nebraska

They just made smart coaching hires and put a little money into the program. Even if they have no diehard fans to put major dollars in
for pitching, Zach Green was easily the most dominant. Not a starter, but his one start was also a CG. I think he gets POTY
I wouldn't be surprised if Greene does win it, despite being a reliever.

He's a top 5 guy across most of the big statistical categories for pitchers.
Texas St coach probably get coach of the year
Hennon at GS and Harrington at TXST are the real only two options for coach of the year to me.

Little Rock wasn't some surprise team to me. Hell they even had a 1st place vote in the preseason.
We were far too inconsistent for Hennon to get it
Nobody in the league was very consistent this year, aside from GSU...

I think Harrington wins it pretty easily. GS may have been the most over-performing team relative to preseason expectations though. Inconsistent or not.
Just announced:
Wilson player of the year.
Connor Reich pitcher of the year.
Harrington coach of the year.
Can t argue with any ofthose
Sunday starter should not be Pitcher of the Year
