Here are the final series for Thur-Sat May 16-18:

Ga Southern (16-11) at Ga State (5-22)
Troy (14-13) at South Alabama (15-12)
App St (12-14) at Coastal Carolina (13-12)
UTA (16-10) at Texas St (18-9)
Little Rock (15-11) at Ark St (11-16)
Louisiana (13-14) at ULM (11-15)

With 3 games left for everyone here are how the seeds look right now
1. Texas St
2. Ga Southern
3.UTA
4. Little Rock
5. South Alabama
6. Coastal Carolina

Play-in games
7. Troy vs 10. ULM
8. Louisiana vs 9. App St

A lot can change over the last 3 games
TXST needs just 1 win at home vs. UTA for the 1 seed and at least a regular season co-championship. 2 wins to guarantee an outright championship.
If we win 2 of 3 at GaSt we win the East
based on past history, the mavs would be doing well to only lose 2 out of 3 to txst giving them 12 losses and maybe still make the top 6.

Dang. You're such a Debbie Downer. Don't you think the guys will rally to win one last series for Coach Thomas' final season? Lots of seniors on this team.

well these two teams play each other hard but these are away games and the advantage goes to the home team. that plus the bobcats being a good team make it a dicey situation. we also have a stop at #12 Baylor tuesday where they will have a chance to shine

There can't be a co-championship. Teams have not played the same number of games.

One win gives TXST the West.

. . . and until it actually happens, I for one will be nervous . .

We have a knack for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory . . .
GaSt is out of the tourney and I think there are 5 other teams who could finish 11th and out of the tourney.

I believe he means the SBC Title co-championship, if we only win one game and GS sweeps, we would tie for Title, although TXST has tiebreaker.

We just need to win two games and be done with it. Play the bench the last game and all the seniors and rest for the tourney.

TXST will most likely end up with a 40-45 RPI which should give us about a 70% chance of an at large depending on how many upsets in conference tourneys.

Don’t know much but I think as of now CCU is the 6th seed is you go by conference standings
You are correct. 13-12 is slightly higher percentage than 14-13. I switched Coastal and Troy in my original post. Good catch
There's sooooooo much that can happen.

Six teams have clinched tournament berths.
Three have clinched a top six finish.
Only one team has been eliminated from consideration.

If you want an at large bid, playing the bench the last game would be pretty stupid.

That RPI is in bubble range. A HOME LOSS would hurt more than you think.

We’ve gone 3-4 in our last 7 . . . . that’s probably cost us any consideration for an at large. I suppose it could still happen, but we certainly haven’t helped ourselves down the stretch.

well they must be saving that senior mojo for san marcos as they got run-ruled by Baylor last night...a team the mavs beat only a few weeks ago. I hope you are right. maybe they played all the backups.
There's a rumor that App will stay in Conway (if they make the tournament) since it would begin three days after the final game.

I looked into going, but it's bike week in Myrtle.
I think we got Tuesday's beat down by Clemson out of our system as we lead 11-0 in the 4th! I hope we continue riding this momentum into the conference tourney. Georgia State and Georgia Southern locked in a battle, scoreless in the 7th...
GSU now up 2-0 in the 8th.

Hold on Panthers!
They didn't hold on........

3-3 in the 9th.
