Let me know if I left any out...

August 29
Texas State @ Texas A&M

August 31:
Mississippi State @ UL
Georgia Southern @ LSU
South Alabama @ Nebraska
Georgia State @ Tennessee

September 7:
ULM @ Florida State
Coastal Carolina @ Kansas

September 14:
Georgia Southern @ Minnesota
Arkansas State @ Georgia

September 21:
ULM @ Iowa State
App State @ North Carolina

October 5:
Troy @ Missouri

November 9:
App State @ South Carolina

Looks like a much more favorable lineup of P5 games than last year. Absolutely no reason to not make it 4 seasons in a row with a P5 win for the league. And we might be able to get multiple wins this season.
App and Coastal maybe. That’s about it.

You don't think Troy can beat Mizzou or GS can beat Minnesota?

I know that’s supposed to be TXST @ TAMU, but it would be hilarious if UT and TAMU secretly revived the rivalry on a Thursday night in August

Not really.

If I am betting the Money Line, I would put money on Troy to beat Missouri.

Underdogs with reasonable chance to win and should cover:
UL can hang with Miss St with their running game. May not win but could.
ULM should be able to score enough to make in interesting in Tallahassee against the Noles.

As for App. Until they do it, they haven't. Think they can beat either one of them, but will they get over that hump? Remains to be seen.
I like our chances against Minnesota. We have a good track record against the spread against P5 teams and we're probably looking at being a 10-15 point dog.

I expect Mizzou to regress some from last year (especially without their QB), or else yeah I think it would be a tough outing.
I voted before reading the schedule. I can only see two possibilities. Slim to none.

Not really.

I figured most would've had Troy near the top of possible P5 wins.

QB Kaleb Barker will be back, our 1,000+ yard RB is back, a talented/lengthy group of WR's, and almost the entire O-Line is back. It should be one of more potent offenses Mizzou will face all season. I suspect the defense will still be strong as well, just a matter of how strong since Vic Koenning left. It's the same base defense.

Plus Troy has confidence on their side when it comes to playing P5 teams now. Their is an expectation within the program to beat a P5 every year now after beating LSU and Nebraska.
I say Troy, Coastal, and App
early feel is that we have a chance in 6 of them, so i split it down the middle and voted 3 wins.

New staff is a real wildcard for me. A lot less experience on staff this year could mean some real growing pains.

If I had to pick from the two games, I would say GASO has a better chance to beat Minnesota. If the point spread was Minnesota -15, I'd have to take the Eagles.

You could be right, but I suspect we are going to be surprised with how well Chip Lindsey and staff picks up where Neal Brown left off. I saw some things during the spring that really impressed me with how Lindsey coaches.
Someone other than App is bound to get one somewhere, so the answer clearly is 3 or more.
I think Troy beats mizzoi
The only possibilities I see are App over UNC and CCU over Kansas. I say they split those so I went with one.
I'm calling UL over Miss State at home. They have the best RB duo in the nation. They are the RB version of Georgia Southern's cornerbacks.
Have a decent shot:
Coastal at Kansas
App at UNC
Miss State at ULL

If everything goes right:
GS at Minnesota
Troy at Mizzou
ULM at FSU

Long shot:
App at South Carolina
GAST at Tennessee
ULM at Iowa State
USA at Nebraska

No chance:
GS at LSU
StAte at UGA
TXST at A&M

Pretty much this.
