So what if after the dust settles that we miss on all of our late targets? Let's say Lester to Indiana, Watford to LSU, RJ and Precious to Kansas, Boogie to Oregon(?) and Tucker to where ever? How disappointed will you be or not be?

Just curious where everyone's midset is since today is the start of the dominos.
I don't think we miss on all just for the fact that we have scholarships available but I think we have to temper the expectations. I'm excited as the next fan but realistic.
I've been preaching for a while not to forget what we have already just b/c "new shiny toys" are on the market. Wiseman, DJ, Baugh, Malcolm will be welcome additions to the team. Thomas, Maurice, Harris, and ALo are all solid role players.
Wiseman is the type of big that changes everything for the team.

Lester seems to be the only sure bet b/c everything else is pure speculation.

And please nobody come here saying this is being negative and doubting Penny smh.
That's not happening. But if it did

Lomax/Harris
Baugh/Hardaway
Jefferies/Boyce
Thomas/Dandridge
Wiseman/Maurice

You can obviously see 3 slots open esp with Malco apparently injured. Btw Malco looks like a WWE superstar. Dude is savage

Boogie starts at PG
Tucker starts at 2
Jefferies starts at 3
Precious starts at 4
Wiseman is the 5

I predict Boogie, Tucker, Quinones and Precious all stripe up but if not we are ok and focus on 2020s class.

Quinones and Tucker can both slide to the 3. Boyce and Harris can slide to the 2.

You're not being negative.

If we miss on all but Lester, they back fill off the grad transfer list, imo. Have to do all they can to maximize the one year of JW.
It would be somewhat similar to Memphis Madness this year. There was so much expectation and so many rumors about what it would be. The end product is still a major success, but some of the fan base would still consider it a letdown.
If I told you that you would play the main event of the WSOP this year and get 11th place, each of you would be ecstatic.
But if you were chip leader by a wide margin with 11 left and then had a number of incredibly unlucky hands followed by some horribly played hands that brought you from leader to next out, missing out on the final table would be a bitter disappointment. Any competitor would say the same. Family and friends would say how great 11th is, but deep down knowing what could've and should've been based on position and situation, the competitor will feel the pain

With the position we have with the number of great players we have it with, if we miss on every prospect, that is how i would feel

MPD and the Corp of Engineer will close down both bridges to prevent jumpers.

We have already signed the #1 player in the class. We are beyond 11th place at the main event already.

Now, if Tubby was still here, we would be approaching the payout bubble in a 10 cent tournament on Party Poker, wondering if he could grab that 5 cent profit by squeaking into the money.

We would have to put Joe1 in stocks and throw rotten persimmons at him.
What if Mama sang bass and Daddy sang tenor?
Well, we have just over 1 1/2 hours until Lester's announcement. I'm really nervous no matter what the CBs say.
...recruiting made sense?

One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.

Then me and little brother would join right in there

Not me. I'd be afraid of a Mama that sang bass.
