Kind of shocked there's no thread up for the softball tournament.

Despite dicey weather in San Marcos they got all 4 games in yesterday.

So far in the tournament:
#6 Coastal beat #7 Georgia Southern 2-1. GS eliminated.
#8 ULM beat #5 App 2-0. App eliminated.

#6 Coastal beat #3 UTA 5-4.
#4 TXST beat #8 ULM 3-0.

Thursday's games:
#6 Coastal vs. #2 Troy - 10am CST
#4 TXST vs. #1 Louisiana - 12:30pm CST
#8 ULM vs. Coastal/Troy loser - 3pm CST - elimination game
#3 UTA vs. TXST/UL loser - 5:30pm CST - elimination game

All games on ESPN+.

#6 Coastal with its 3rd upset win in 2 days beats #2 Troy 4-2.

Troy will face #8 ULM at 3pm in an elimination game.

Cajuns pull out a close win over Texas State, 4-3. Glad the weather has held off for the most part. Fingers crossed they get the 2 elimination games in today.

ULM beats Troy 3-0 in ten innings. Lower seeds are doing well.

Crazy tournament so far!! #8 ULM has beaten #5 App, #2 Troy, and leading #3 UTA. Then, #6 Coastal has had a good run as well. Could be left with 1, 6, and 8 as the last 3 standing!

Warhawks win. ULM and CC tomorrow. Warhawks have beaten the #5, #3 and #2 seeds.

ULM and Coastal in lightening delay.

ULM ace pitcher goes down with a knee injury. 2-2 going into the top of the 7th.

I think I noticed UTA on the list of teams. 19 school in this tournament. The info on the website mentioned 16-32 teams so I am assuming some schools were invited and chose not to attend.
