I did not see this posted anywhere else, but Camron Justice, who visited-signed with Western Kentucky. I also wonder did we ever reach out to Jaevin Cumberland? I would have loved to get him. Are we even adding anyone eligible to play in 2019? seems like the JUCO kids we offered won't be eligible next year. Just figured I would start a post, because on the recruiting front it's been very, very quiet.
Yes I am sure we are recruiting players for 2019 . The point guard David Sloan of John Logan who was supposed to visit this past week is eligible for next year. His teammate Scrubb who we offered is a 2020 player I believe.
If Jarron comes back or not it probably will be up in the air until late May. If his cousin wishes to play with him it might delay his decision.
It is a new era in recruiting with the transfer portal; it is unreal if you look at the number of players. We are probably fortunate compared to many teams that we have only two on the list. That I guess could change at anytime but hopefully at most Brooks is the only player we lose of any importance.
We just offered 2020 4 star 7 ft Zach Loveday of Huntington Prep.

Did we offer??
Or did he work out with the team and they found out it wasn’t a good fit or he wasn’t up to par?
the silence is unnerving.
Haven't really heard many names for 19...doesn't mean there aren't any, but it's been quiet (shouldnt we be used to that??)
Sloan visited...but haven't heard how that went or what his timeline is.
I assume JC's status has some bearing on if any 2 guard is considering us. JC, Trevor, and Samari have that position held down assuming those three are on the roster in a couple months.

Bolded, silence there has been deafening. I'm a little surprised he wouldn't see the opportunity for even more playing time as a freshman with other player movement. I keep wondering why a young man who committed to play for two different programs in Cincinnati would want to look elsewhere. Brannen may face his challenges with personnel in the first season but the players who stick around and succeed will endear themselves to Bearcat fans--maybe the way Steve Sanders did in Huggins first season.

LoJo and Samari haven't announced their intentions to depart yet (Corryville Carl be damned). I take that as good news as I'd want to put my name out there early to find a good landing spot if I wasn't coming to UC.
Guys, we named a new coach 2 weeks ago. A live recruiting period is going on, and right now we've got 2 or 3 scholly's open. Relax, you have to give the process time. This roster situation will likely be fluid until at least the end of May.
Corryville Carl is a group of Xavier trolls posing as a Duane Norman type. Ignore them.

It's because they simply have nothing. At least Cryami has hockey. But the Norwood clowns now have zero and must rely on ugly girls for any sad satisfaction.
That school is like the depressing GM plant in Norwood that closed decades ago. At one time not a bad place to spend some of your life. But now, X should just be shuttered. Plywood on building windows would befitting the mood.

I grew up in Norwood and went to grade school and high school there in the 1940's and 1950's . In those days it was a great place to live and go to school. The tax revenue generated by all the industry there in those days helped make the school system one of the best in Ohio. It breaks my heart to see what has become of a once fine city.

Unnecessary. Just stated that it's been really quiet concerning him one way or another.

What I remember about Norwood was the Auto Safety Inspection. To drive on the streets of Cincinnati you needed to have your car inspected (On Central Parkway). They checked brakes and lights. If you could not pass Cincinnati you went to Norwood and could pass by the fact that you drove there. Made money for Norwood.

I assume you only know of this 'trick' from overhearing your staff talking among themselves. Not that you personally had to do this. I mean,Bentley's wouldn't really have an issue with such a test I imagine.

The Norwood Safety Lane was pretty much a running joke to residents, When I was a kid I had a '46 Chevy that had non-functioning windshield wipers. It was due for inspection so I took it through the safety lane anyway. When the guy called for me to turn on the wipers . I just reached through the open window and moved them by hand. PASS.
