Last year we were predicted to finish better than we did. This year I’ll guess the reverse is true and we will be predicted to finish poorly but finish better.

#129 South Alabama -

Quote:Outlook: While Campbell touted the potential of a program in football-crazy part of the country, it’s clear he will need more time to develop talent that isn’t plucked by the powerhouses in the area. The Jaguars could be dangerous in the future, but they lack the depth and playmaking ability to make a lot of noise in 2019.
No way South Alabama finishes this low.

I knew it’d be low but second worst hurts lol. Hopefully we can prove this ranking wrong.
Going to try and guess the SBC order and range for national rank
(not my rankings, just a guess for the OS)
1. App State (40-50)
2. Troy (50-60)
3. GS (50-60)
4. UL (60-70)
5. StAte (70-80)
6. ULM (90-100)
7. Coastal (100-110)
8. Texas State (110-120)
9. Georgia State (120-130)
10. South Alabama 129 (really?)
I don't think we are 129 bad. I was at the spring game, I don't think we looked that bad at all. Not the best years to get fans to sign up for all those 3 year commitments for seats when we are a year away from playing in a brand new on campus stadium.
Did they skip us?

I sincerely believe South will double it's wins total over 2018. Wishful thinking on my part, would be 7 wins.

Oh look! A Troy fan picking all the east teams over the west. How novel. LOL.
I'm playing. But I do think ULL is going to be the wild card of the west that might surprise a LOT of people this year. I don't think stAte is going to surprise anyone. Just so much stuff going on around our program.

That's not how I think they'll end up, it's where I think the countdown will put them. I also think UL is going to be really, really good.

After last season, UL is not surprising anyone in the conference.

Ain’t no way stAte gets above 90. We’re gonna suck this year. We have no QB experience because the coach wanted to pack the stats of Hansen.

Yep ole COTY was doing work last season.
Two of our opponents in the bottom four. First half of the season has Campbell, Akron, South Alabama, Southern Miss (in Troy), Arkansas State (in Troy) and Missouri. That's good news for a team that will need to adjust to a new staff.
