Yeah, but it can be an intimidating and loud box.

I’ sure. Everybody is right there on top of you and it’s quite intimate.
It’s very unique.
I like unique venues, especially when they have character and charm.

Flowers Hall (UNA) is unique, and especially after the renovations, is very nice. It can get very loud, if we can fill it up again... it holds 3900, and everyone seems like they can touch you.

Bellarmine is a place I want to visit. To see in person.

I dont much like the venues that when watching on TV (or streaming) the only way you can tell where it's at is by the logo on the floor. Dont care for sterilization.

2,196 is the capacity for Bellarmine. I wonder how much the new seating will add.
Yes, it’s early, but it “seems” clear that UNF is the second best team in conference. After that, it’s a complete tossup.

MEN
16-1 (2-0) Liberty
9-8 (2-0) UNF
7-10 (1-1) Stetson
6-9 (1-1) Lipscomb
6-9 (1-1) UNA
4-13 (1-1) FGCU
7-9 (0-1) Jacksonville
3-11 (0-1) NJIT
1-14 (0-2) Kennesaw St.
10-0 (——) Bellarmine
I really like the way Liberty is playing now, even with their uninspiring win over NJIT. The Flames face FGCU in FL next. I am hoping we can stay within 20. UNA continues to be a pleasant surprise.

WOMEN
14-2 (1-0) FGCU
10-3 (1-0) UNA
8-6 (1-0) Liberty
7-7 (1-0) Stetson
8-5 (0-0) Jacksonville
6-6 (0-1) Kennesaw St.
7-7 (0-1) UNF
3-11 (0-1) NJIT
3-11 (0-1) Lipscomb
6-4 (——) Bellarmine

UNA played like garbage last night... Congrate UNF on the road win. Hopefully we turn it around moving forward. Our (supposedly) best player has been in a bad slump lately, if he gets out of it, we should have better results

What is going on at FGCU?

Congrats Liberty on the W.

I think we could have done a better job in many aspects, but we have to start making free throws, I mean, there supposed to be an easy shot... but overall we are getting better.

Cant wait till this transition is over, and maybe we get some taller and (hate to say) better players.

Hard to recruit when the recruits know they dont have any shot at the tournament...
UNA with the sweep over Lipscomb today....

Men pick up their first road win....

Women are just doing what they do...

What's crazy about this is that we have players who are not ellegible this season and we have been playing decently in conference play. These are good signs for the rest of the season and future seasons as well.

Between FGCU, UNA, Liberty, the conference is strong in womens basketball... and should get stronger.

It was a great game to watch. So competitive and OT!

I wanted to add that the commentators including the sideline reporter were some of the most professional I've watched/heard in a long time. They made the game even better.
