Well that’s interesting to say the least
Very good... maybe we can get Lipscomb or FGCU or both in the top 25 along with Liberty. Multiple bids will surely come in that scenario.

I’m not sure about Lipscomb since everyone has graduated and/or transferred. How was FGCU’s class of 2019?

I’m pretty sure UNF is supposed to be the second best this year.
Preseason Picks
1. Liberty
2. North Florida
3. FGCU
4. NJIT
5. Lipscomb
6. North Alabama
7. Jacksonville
8. Kennesaw St.
9. Stetson
I’d say that looks about right.
Honors
Player of the Year: Caleb Homesley (Liberty)
Defensive POY: Aminu (UNF)
All Conference: Homesley (LU), James (LU), Aminu (UNF), Cooks (NJIT), Gandia-Rosa (UNF), Hooker (KSU), Asadullah (other LU), Buckland (other LU), Blackmon (UNA), Sams (UNF)
Newcomer of the Year: Kyle Rode (Liberty)
There are probably other deserving folks, but things’ll change by season end.
I like how you said "LU" and "other LU." Might be on to something.
At the end of the day, everyone has to show up & do their jobs.
Based upon preseason expectations, it will be Liberty & UNF battling it out for the ASUN Championship this year. But if we look back at last year's preseason picks, it was supposed to be Lipscomb v FGCU in the 18-19 championship with Jacksonville & Liberty taking 3rd & 4th places, & we know how that turned out...
Obviously we didn't know how Liberty was going to look in their first year in the conference, but we also don't know how this team will respond to being the favorites, as it's been a long time since this team & coach have come into a season with these kind of expectations, so we'll see how they respond.

Looking back at last year, everyone expected UNA to finish last in the conference. They ended up in the conference tournament.
With a ton of freshmen and 2 D2 players.
I got my Blue Ribbon Yearbook today. In order their predicted order of finish.
1. Liberty
2. UNF
3. NJIT
4. Lipscomb
5. FGCU
6. JU
7. KSU
8. Stetson
Blue Ribbon does not evaluate teams in transition (UNA).
Projected POTY - Homesley/Liberty
Newcomer OTY - Diawara/Stetson
Ken Pomeroy (Kenpom) posted his ranking of every D1 team.
#88 Liberty
#140 NJIT
#182 Lipscomb
#184 UNF
#250 FCGU
#280 UNA
#289 Jacksonville
#318 KSU
#329 Stetson
Pomeroy is well respected for his rankings and methods/analysis. An obvious huge gap between Liberty and the rest of the ASun. That is expected. A bit surprising is the gap between NJIT at #140 and Lipscomb/UNF at #182/#184. But Kennedy has recruited well. Speaking of recruiting well, KSU is killing it with their 2020 class. Perhaps the sleeping giant has awoke.
Bellarmine is preseason #2 in the nation.
