He's a good guy. Really hope he gets a chance to stick with the Steeelers.

He's a good guy. Really hope he gets a chance to stick with the Steeelers.

Coach Ginn had a lot of heat directed at him because he had the nerve to play the private schools on a level playing field. He was even called an under-achiever because with the raw talent he had collected, he didn't win the big one. But then, the whiners didn't understand "raw." They only saw "talent."

Now as time has gone by, I think they mostly all acknowledge that their programs couldn't (and in many cases, wouldn't) have done for kids what he did, with what they had to work with and with what he had to work with. Amazing will-power. An Ohio jewel.
Flu inactive for tonight's Titans game, again with an injury.
Although Hollman was reportedly back to practice this week, still listed as inactive for today's game
Diontae Johnson with a couple of short catches, including one where he juked past Richard Sherman to get a first down. Also had a target that should have been a catch but he cut the route short. 13 yards total.

Ola & Jayrone both playing special teams, and Ola seeing sporadic snaps on D.

But, man the Steelers look bad. The 49ers committed 4 turnovers in the 1st 20 minutes, and yet Pittsburgh is only leading 6-3. Steelers have 76 total yards in the 1st half. Rudolph has 40 yards passing, of which DJ has 13.
DIONTAE!!! First NFL touchdown!

he's got great moves, knows how to get open, stay healthy and have a good career dionte.
Tuzar Skipper’s positive outlook carries him from Meriden and Norwich to the NFL’s Giants

Another cool, positive article about Skipper. Had his first tackle against TB. Rooting for him to make it.
Steelers have released Trevon Mathis.
Seattle has released Nkansah again.
Tuzar Skipper credited with a half sack in today's Giants' win over Washington. Hester had a couple tackles for Washington.

Greg Mancz was back in the lineup for Houston. Milligan saw action for the Colts.

The only Rocket highlight I saw posted was from all-world punter Brett Kern, who had 5 out of 5 punts inside the 20 today. This one was a beauty
Not a good start for Diontae as he fumbles the ball the first Catch of the game. Gives Cincy a first down inside the red zone
Johnson with four catches in the first half, but for only 27 yards. Pittsburgh hasn't thrown down the field all half. And he did have that one big fumble unfortunately.
johnson, ala kareem hunt in his 1st national tv game, immediately funbles, then comes back to be the most productive and efficient receiver of the day for the steelers with 6 catches in 6 targets 72 yards, a td, and the longest catch of the day.

also, in that otherwise crappy washington vs the giants game around the same time as tuzar's sack hester got a fumble recovery.
In addition to Johnson's play, both Ola and Jayrone saw meaningful snaps on D, in addition to Ola's regular spots on special teams. Elliott had a nice tackle on a scrambling QB and Ola was credited with 1 tackle as well.
According to this article, the Texans have signed Elijah Nkansah to their practice squad.

Rockets still bit by injury bugs Mancz reportedly not practicing due to a concussion.

Flu also still not fully practicing with a knee issue.
Titans reportedly put Flu on IR. Man he has not had any luck with injuries.
