What's different between this and just saying "if you vote for me I will give you "X" amount of money and a bottle of liquor"? That's considered vote buying, which is illegal.

The democrats have pulled over 85% of the black vote since LBJ... They must sense that they are losing the black vote to resort to offering one group of people money, especially when its likely to upset the majority.

I would pay reparations of $1,000,000 to every person alive today who was enslaved in the United States and emancipated by Lincoln's Proclamation.

I would pay reparations to anyone who can prove that he or she is worse off because his or her ancestors came to the US as slaves, compared to how well off he or she would be if his ancestors had remained in Africa, reparations to be measured by the amount of damages that he or she can prove.

Keep in mind that, in order to have been brought to the US as a slave, such ancestors most likely were enslaved while still in Africa, and brought to the ports as slaves, to be sold to the slave traders and shippers.

And they were sold by tribes who thrived in selling their fellow man.

Want to cause problems in the hood? Here's an idea, make them prove descendent in order to qualify. Only those folks get money and make it a significant sum for those that can prove both sides of the family have slave roots. Everyone else gets nothing.
