So the Shockers are the last American Conference men's team carrying the banner at this point (UCONN women are in the NCAA Final Four, as usual).
Marshall has done a fine coaching job this year with a young team, following an ugly start to their season. Winning by ten in Bloomington against IU set the stage for MSG.
Here's hoping WSU beats Lipscomb tonight (Shockers are underdogs) and can win it all. I know it's the N.I.T. but the Final Four @ MSG generally produces some great basketball from teams that arguably were better than the bottom third of the NCAA autobid participants.
