NWMSU wins their 2nd men's basketball national championship in 3 years. They beat Point Loma 64-58. The Bearcats finished with a perfect season, 38-0. (Two years ago they were "only" 35-1.) Since 2013 Bearcat HC Ben McCollum's record is 176-27 for a winning percentage of 77%. (Will a D1 program give him a call?)
Their 2nd basketball natty will look real good next to their 6 D2 football championships. (They're going to need a bigger trophy cabinet.)
