UC Irvine, who UT beat early in the season, beat K State today.
Bobby Hurley's old team vs. his new team. Good deal. Wasn't Hurley once mentioned as the most hated man in The MAC? If Buffalo continues and gets an opportunity to play Michigan, well watch out UM. Could be interesting....
On a somewhat personal note, I see where I am now listed as Special Teams. Nice.

You can make a pretty nice living as a special teams freak in the league.

Congrats!
Not sure how UB won playing only an 8 man rotation.
Over the past few years both the Buffalo men and women are no strangers to playing in the NCAA Tourney and that previous experience and newly found tradition has to be helpful to them. Both teams have certainly represented the MAC well recently.

He is certainly an odd little guy. Some of his facial expressions were scary.
When Marshall rejoined the MAC and kicked our ass, it took a few years before we started beating them. And we started whipping them not because they lost a coach and started to suck but because we got better. I hope we replicate.

After yesterday's game I have to wonder in the good folks in Tempe are thinking that maybe they hired the wrong Buffalo coach four years ago. I use to closely follow ACC basketball a long time ago and remember Hurley well as a player. He always played with chip on his shoulder and brought a lot of intensity and aggression and arrogance to his game----of course arrogance is a Duke characteristic that infects the entire school---Anyway his persona was not well received by opposing players and opposing fans ---to make it even worse he was a very good player ---talented and played hard and played smart---and as point guard he led some the very best of those great Duke teams. Personality wise he is kind of cut out of the same cloth as Danny Ainge of BYU except with Hurley you got the idea that he might also be a little bit crazy. Hurley never had much of an NBA career because about half way thru his first season he was in a horrific car wreck that almost killed him ---after a long recovery he played another year or so in the NBA but IMO he was never the same player and nothing much ever came of it.
