Lot of teams EMU fans have seen this year...

Toledo went down to Xavier,

CMU went down to DePaul,

TCU beat Sam Houston State,

Northeastern and Kansas played yesterday with KS winning.

UC-Irvine is tied with Kansas State at the half.

UB plays Arizona State (and their fmr. coach) at 4:00 today.

Duke plays a #16 tonight (NDSU).

Big surprise with the NCAAs is how strong the B1G has been. I thought ACC would walk away with the 'conference kudos.'
The NCAA is getting really cheeky with its scheduling. First Louisville vs Minnesota and now Buffalo vs. Bobby Hurley.

The B1G has three teams in the bottom half of Duke's bracket, so they'll start knocking one another out of the tournament shortly.
UB had a very good first half. Nice watching Perkins handling the ASU zone. Zone? He's seen it many times...
Gentleman Buffalo is just plain scary! They are a track team that happens to play basketball. If they hit their threes, they legitimately could get to the Final Four, Michigan will have no chance against them. However if they don't shoot ball, they could be gone this weekend. That is what is great about NCAA tournament.
Texas Tech is better than Michigan. Should be a great game tomorrow.
Going O/T here, but (it is early) but a lower bowl (corner) ticket next Friday at the Capital One Arena is going for $4,600. This could be Duke vs. MSU in the Sweet 16 game. (EDIT: Elite Eight game).

I went to watch the Wizards last Saturday. Two tixs, same section, rows, cost $100 (total) on the resale market.

If only someone saw that coming.

MAC fans might have been able to... They saw what TX Tech did to a very good UB team.

And like wow, UofM was oh for the game behind the arc until some walk on made a crazy three with seconds left in the game.

I thought I was watching EMU in the 2nd half of the game last night/this morning.
Having a very bad game (or 2nd half) is a tough way to end a season but it happened to EMU, UBuffalo, UofM, etc.

There are no ties in basketball. Someone has to lose.

There are two things the Free Press and Detroit News can't understand.

1. Why UM/MSU/Lions aren't world beating teams with zero losses ever.
2. Why EMU has athletics at all.

My bracket saw it coming a mile away.
Dear Friends,
This happens every year with U-M in particular with the sports writers of the News and Free Press. They start out the season with how great U-M is, never looking at the fact that their early wins come against inferior opponents. Then at the end of the season when the house of cards collapses, it's well they have to work on this, or they need to look at that. Sure every team wants to improve for the next season, but it is the fact that these sports writers never look at reality. U-M has good teams, but they are not great teams. Get over it.
