Myrtle is such a trashy place.
So, either a better exempt tournament has come calling, or Penny et al. believe they can schedule better match ups themselves.

Myrtle Beach's big draws are now Baylor, Mississippi State, Villanova, and Utah (three NCAA tournament teams), though realistically we could only expect to play two of those teams at most.

The fact that our basketball staff thinks they can schedule a better slate than that is exciting...

Lots of golf courses, though.
Obviously something is up. And with all tournament slots filled, it's probably
A TV deal playing someone big. Let the speculation begin !!02-13-banana

Do they still do that Navy boat thing? Something opening weekend is my guess. Kentucky? Kansas? Duke? UNC?

Uhmmmmm..... Until we win 5 or 6 NCs we aren't getting invited to that.
I hope this means better home games (home and home series with someone). I am not a big fan of the neutral site tournaments.
This has to mean something is already a done deal and they are waiting to work out logistics to make an announcement. With this tournament the November schedule was crazy. Also remember how ESPN worked out a Marcus Camby vs Lorenzen Wright game in UMass? Who is the big time big man that ESPN will highlight against Wiseman? If we play Duke and Vernon Carey is would be a neutral site game.. If it's Mobley and Southern Cal, I suspect the same. Anyway...somethings is up and it is exciting.
It could be Boowen scheduling some attractive Sun Belt squads
My dream scenario would be a home and home against UK. But I would settle for a neutral site game in Nashville. I know it would never happen, but a fan can dream can't he?

Myrtle Beach almost sucks out loud. It's just plain ugly except for the ocean.

Gentleman clubs along that main drag look worse than the one that was next to Clearpool.

Because our basketball OOC was so poor this season.

here is an article on Wiseman GPOY from Rivals today....very odd wording, or they spilled the beans on a possible future game

One game that is sure to be circled on the calendar is the Kentucky game, and Wiseman said both he and D.J. Jeffries are looking forward to that matchup.

"That game is going to be fun. It's going to be high energy, a great battle with good players and both D.J. and I can't wait," Wiseman said. "We're definitely looking forward to that game for sure."

Good find. It does seem odd.

I'm confused when he said he wanted to make noise in the SEC.
Tulane replaced us in the tourney. I am sure the tournament people were thrilled with that.

Any news on the Sno Cone machine?
We are already playing Tennessee in Nashville. Maybe they add Kentucky and another team to that. Cal likes the neutral court games
