Also thier offense was better last year, top 10 vs top 25 good. I also think the book is out on them. In the second half teams slow the game with physical play and timeouts.
Honestly UC is going to have to the same thing to Iowa. The timeout is sometimes the best defense agiant an elite offense as it kills a teams momentum.

Teams are so dumb. Just hold the ball agianst them. Nevada comes back on everyone playing a frantic style.

Using the same strategy they used against UC. Pressing, sending double teams in the backcourt. Conceding quick, wide open jumpers in the hopes of keeping Florida spread out and making this an open court, iso type game. It's working.

They do it to everyone. Sometimes they lose at the end but somebody needs to figure it out.

Agreed. But they give you stuff intentionally in these situations to speed you up and teams just can't help themselves. When teams hit the stuff they can lose by 30. Had UC just ran their offense they probably didn't have to score the last 12 minutes against Nevada to win.

That is where calling timeouts and intentionally running halfcourt offense wins the day.
They are a video game team in boss mode at the end of game. You just need to slow it down and survive their run.

That wasn't really Florida keeping its composure, Nevada was broke in the last 4 minutes or so.

If Nevada had hit several of their free throws in early and late 2nd half, the last 2 minutes might have played out very differently.
Free throws matter.
(Plus Nevada missed a lot of 3's that they hit last year. )
