That's a touch matchup for them.

I do like that Hofstra get's State in NIT 04-cheers
Tough tough draw for Northeastern

In name only. Kansas really isn't all that great this year. There were worse matchups out there. Florida State would have been a really bad matchup for the Huskies.
How bout UNCG being the last team out. Unfortunate for them that Washington lost to Oregon allowing Oregon and the Pac 12 to take their bid
Let's go Huskies!!! Are we going to do another bracket challenge this year?

Agree here. Isn't this the first year in many many years that Kansas didn't win the B12?

They're not the same team they have been in the past. I don't think it's as bad of a draw for Northeastern as many are touting. Go Huskies!

Unfortunate for them for sure. Interested to see if Miller gets snatched up by a P5 or better Mid Major (Looking at you William and Mary) or if he stays and continues the success he's built at UNCG.

Solo... you gonna put the challenge together?

UVA suffers a second consecutive embarassing first round loss to Gardner Webb....

Bold, and would be entertaining but highly unlikely. The funniest thing was that earlier today the Vegas odds for winning the championship for UVA were higher than UNC’s. 6-1 and 8-1, respectively, which makes zero sense considering UVA’s inability to even win a conference tourney, let alone the big one.

Deandre Hunter is a BEAST too.
Virginia needs to at least go deep to help cover up several stains. Going all the way back to Chaminade.

If they don't AT LEAST make the Elite 8, it's a continued failure.

Agreed. That is too good of a team on both sides of the ball to not achieve at least that. Realistically, short of a final 4 would be underachieving.

Agree. I only lowered the bar to the Elite 8 because it's UVA we're talking about. 04-cheers
Wes Miller isn't going to William & Mary. He's a Carolina guy and can't be happy the way the Tribe dispatched fellow Tar Heel Shaver. W&M's academics and horrible history are factors, too.

W&M might look at Colgate's Matt Langel, who played for Penn.

Viable reasons you give. I wonder though, how much the UNC allegiance would actually come into play there given that Shaver played for UNC back in the 70s (never coached there that I'm aware of), and Miller wasn't at UNC until the early 2000s. Additionally, Miller played for Williams there unlike Shaver. Not saying you're wrong, but just curious how much that would come into play.

I've noticed Shaver be "buddy buddy" with McGrath and Manuel on the sideline multiple times before and after games. More so than just your regular hand shake, so I've always assumed his UNC ties still run strong. Wes Miller isn't going William & Mary simply because he already has a better job lol, not because of his UNC connections.
