Patrick made a post on twitter tonight saying his season was over and he is going to undergo surgery to fix a torn labrum. Says the team will continue into the post season but his year is done. Looking forward to seeing what he can do at 100%.

I'm glad to hear he's doing this sooner rather than later. Shoulder surgery can take several months for full recovery.

We can be looking for the greater Good next year.
If he rehabs for 6 months as he indicated...

He stated in his tweet that rehab was 6 months.
Yes, there is a labrum in each hip as well as each shoulder. Hip labrum tears tend to be seen more often in football, futbol, and hockey - sometimes car wrecks, etc. 6 months is a good guideline, but of course we don't know if it's an anterior or posterior tear, how severe; yada, yada, yada....

I am sure happy he played in the tourney, anytime he or Lucas was in the game in the tourney we lost ground against the opponent.

Kid has played all year with a painful injury and won us a fair share of games.
think it is time for you to delete your account, Seriously go away.
Dumb and stupid comment....1224
Good probably held on too long this season, but after he had that ridiculous game where he made a million threes, don’t blame the kid or the staff for trying. At the end of the season, for better or worse, coaches are going to stick with what they’ve seen work before. Shame he wasn’t healthy and strong in this tournament. I’m sure he’ll be fired up next year, knock on wood.
I don't understand what is wrong with some of you recently regarding defensiveness to any critique of our players.

Good absolutely helped us this season, and I hope that one of his main weaknesses (not willing to drive to the bucket) was due to his injury and will improve next year. Having said that, he shouldn't have been on the court the last few games. He simply wasn't healthy enough to help the team, at least not offensively. It was obvious.

A statement that when Good or Lucas was in the game the team wasn't as good in the tournament is simply true. That isn't saying that Good didn't help us all season, and doesn't put down his toughness for playing through an injury.
I may have overreacted slightly. I'm just absolutely SICK of the constant negativity on this board, and took it past where I should have, so I've deleted my post. This year, without a doubt, has been the least fun I've ever had reading this board. It's not close.
We have a bright future I just didn't agree with the utilization of our players down the stretch. No offense but I felt like Boyd wasn't allowed to get into a rhythm and was pressured to take shots when he had time on the court. Talking about the wofford game.
Good played 13 minutes against Wofford and N'Gussan 8, they weren't the problem Chief.

Stupid foul on N'Gussan aside, that was way to early in the game to be THE deciding factor but it does look like it cost him PT for the rest of the game.

In my opinion, sarcasm, "I am sure happy [Good] played in the tourney," doesn't mix well with criticism, "anytime he or Lucas was in the game in the tourney we lost ground against the opponent."
