A handful of years ago Monmouth College men’s basketball entertained viewing audiences both at the venue and on TV with their antics celebrating the success of their squad during the game on the sideline. It consisted of four players one of which is now averaging about 4 points a game as they continue to move toward getting their dance ticket punched.
Of the 4 guys there were 2 brothers. The much shorter was always in the center of the antics. He was the big fish that was caught and the human hoop.
The younger and taller of the two Pillari brothers, the dark haired was the one went out and caught the first down pass. He’s actually contributing of the court these days.
King Rice a former starting UNC point guard for Dean Smith is the head coach. Not sure if Dean Smith would approve. Wondering if Hawk would be open to such antics? Wouldn’t hurt this year!
