What happened????
Looked like he just went to a knee in front of the Bronco bench. Bunch of people around him. Laid on the Bronco bench taking oxygen and smelly salts for a long time. Possibly heart related I would think. Hope the guy is ok.
He's listed in stable condition at the hospital. The game will continue with two referees.

Seriously WMU is beyond embarrassing. 20-30 min to get a stretcher/ambulance there.

You would think they would have learned from the incident at the soccer complex a few years back.

What a disgrace.

Are you suggesting that WMU needs an ambulance onsite for every sporting event?

At least on call. There is a major hospital like 5 min from the campus. I’ve been to 2 events now within 2 years where it took like 30 minutes to get help. That’s insane.

I agree with you, very embarrassing. An hour delay is insane.
I could have sworn there was always an ambulance in the lot between Read and the Ring road before.

This is not just a WMU or Kalamazoo sports issue.
Ambulances take time to get onsite everywhere.

IMO: WMU medical staff & other physicians at the game last night are much more knowledgeable capable than any ambulance driver.
