1. Texas: $210,370,940
7. Oklahoma: $175,325,500
9. Kansas: $164,738,351

Maybe this is why ATU keeps ranking Kansas so high in his expansion posts.

Would strengthen the top of the SEC significantly:
1. Texas $210M
3. Alabama $181M
5. Georgia $176M
7. Oklahoma $175M
9. Kansas $164M
10. Florida $157M

I also wonder how much of Kansas’ money is from heavy fund raising to improve football facilities?

Possibly 70 million of it if I had to guess. Last year their total revenue was 95 million.

Probably. But the Jayhawks MUST make an intentional investment into football or they could find themselves as the next Connecticut.
Les Miles will have Kansas competitive in a couple or three years. They won't be a powerhouse, but will show significant enough improvement not to look embarrassing.
Rating them as the 3rd most desirable, in terms of SEC prospective expansion from the Big12, has plausible reasons for favoring such. Obviously, coupled with Texas or Oklahoma makes the argument stronger.
I agree that a lot of Kansas' new revenue is from donations. I don't know where else it could have come from.

Although I do think it still speaks to their value as they have a strong donor base willing to invest in the program.

On another note, amazing how low some of those ACC schools are.
Schools (below Vanderbilt) with revenue for each less than 80 million for that year are Texas Tech, Iowa State, Rutgers, Washington State, GT, BC, and WFU. No big surprises there. NCSU and VPI are lower than one may guess in rank/order, but fairly close to the next few above.
