I emailed SunBelt offices yesterday and got response that 2019 schedules would be released sometime this week. I'm hoping to get a Saturday game with Georgia Southern in Boone but have a gut feeling that we may be playing them on Halloween night in Boone on Thursday. That would be an off the chain atmosphere! Ready to plan for time off in the fall! Go APP!

How far of a drive is it between Georgia Southern and App?
Think it would be pretty cool to have y'all's rivalry game on Halloween with the costumes and a packed house kind of thing.

It's about a 6 hour drive. I haven't been to Boone since 2011. I'm thinking about going up there this year. IF it's on Halloween I'll have to think of something completely ridiculous to dress up as...maybe an App State fan
I sort of wish this series could go back to the weekend from time to time.

AGREE 1000% but I don't see it happening. ESPN wants the eyeballs on TVs on a Thursday night. They don't care that they ruin one of the best parts of a rivalry that way and reduce the number of fans for each team that can see it in person.
I think that the last time we played on Halloween, Armanti was qb and we torched Wofford to the tune of 70-24. That was one whale of an atmosphere. I can't even fathom what it might be if we get our normal student involvement!

In my top 3 games I've ever been to. And I've been to bowls and nooga champ games.
I would love App/GS games to be on Saturdays but I highly doubt that will happen
GaSo plays NMSU the week befeor Halloween week and App plays UofSC the week after . I think Halloween Thursday is happening.

Last year it was released on Tuesday, Feb 27 at 2p.
I'm getting antsy.
The schedule will come out Friday at 10a, per T-Mo.

Friday at 10 is correct. It was released a couple of days before that last year, but that was the exception rather than the rule.
