If UNCW and Elon play in the 7-10 or 8-9 game, Kai Toews could break the CAA assists record. He has 236, and the CAA record is 251. UNCW has off Thursday, so he will need 15 to tie and 16 to break the record in his first CAA Tournament game, which is his second game from now. Elon has 295 threes, and the CAA record is 339. It's very hard but not impossible to get 44 to tie or 45 to break in 3 games. What's more likely is for Elon to beat UNCW and break the record in their Quarterfinal. Both first round winners will play earlier on Sunday than on Saturday, so Elon could play in games with records twice in 24 hours.
