Wonder if she tried to kill him with a 9-iron like Tiger's X?
It kind of BS for the reporter to basically put the girlfriend, who is completely innocent, and in fact was undoubtedly hurting from the incident already, in the spotlight for this, using her name to get readers, and actually contacted her soliciting a comment. Very sleazy journalist.
Very typical journalist.

All about “clicks” to keep their job

Agreed.

Same thing happened to Sen Stabenow in 2008 when her husband got caught with a 20-year-old escort in a Troy hotel.

Only difference is he had the C team at home...still no excuse. To Stabenow's credit, she divorced the guy.

I agree with you. Although three points:
a) It's not really so much about putting her in there. It's about making the article at all. There would be NO separate article to write if it wasn't for her; keep her, thus the article, at bay.
b) To be fair, nothing even remotely implies she's guilty of anything; it's just embarrassing as hell for her dealing with "what kind of guy you date", opening social life & media hell to her
c) Speaking of potentially implying unfair guilt -- it does imply he was part of some human trafficking scheme by it's wording at first glance. He was wanting an Asian rub-n-tug. Perfect example of if someone's doing something clearly wrong, accuracy/clarity about how wrong or what they exactly did is almost meaningless. It's the seeds of biased reporting, even though the people in general are like that.
