Time TBA.

Quote:The regular season will conclude with the 23rd Marathon MAC Football Championship game on Saturday, Dec. 7 (time/television TBA) from Ford Field in Detroit.
Yes!
I wouldn't get too excited. The 2017 MACC was on a Saturday, but was at 11am. Just wouldn't be the same without enjoying Cheli's or somewhere similar for a couple hours prior. It's an awkward time leaving people to choose to come Friday or Saturday, and if you come Friday, do you stay until Sunday, especially if you plan to drink, etc.

Hooray!!!! This is outstanding.. now only if it would go back to home sites instead of a mostly empty Ford Field.
It'll probably be at 9am. lol

As opposed to a mostly empty Huskie Stadium.

Yeah, I'd rather hit up an empty Ford Field...which is enclosed in December than anywhere outside in the Midwest...the town also does good job welcoming the MAC too...banners all over the stadium and main hotel....plus real cool bars out there
I always liked the Friday night schedule. Requires only 1 night stay.

This should only require 1 night stay, get to Detroit Friday night, no rush. Leave after the game, as this will very likely be a very early start. Hopefully not NFL in London early

There was some cool stuff on the walk from hotel to Ford Field too. Like makeshift indoor heated XMas displays. I was impressed with Detroit.
Bumped because the PAC 10 wanted Friday night.
This is great!

Pretty sure the PAC 12 game has been on Friday night for years....

You're correct. I can't find it now but saw something but the (Friday/Saturday) reason is due to who's got the broadcast. ESPN/FOX/CBS etc...… They're dictating the WHEN.
Pretty sure Utah/Washington PAC championship was on Friday along with MACC last year. That's why our attendance was down. 03-drunk

Still pretty much an armpit of a city and I wouldn't stray too far off the beaten path, but it's improving. Been going there for years (besides for Huskie appearances in the MACC!).
Personally, I prefer the Friday night game. I'm not going to be going to Detroit so I'm in the "watch it on tv" crowd. With that, the chances of me having some family obligation on a Saturday in early December is much more likely than a Friday evening.
Would have went last year if the game was on a Saturday.
Love the Friday night tradition and the fact I can doubledip attending and then watching all the others on Saturday.

But at least it saves a vacation day at work.

However, I did miss one CCG years ago because NIU held orientation on the Friday. Ditto many others. That sucked.
