How many soft, lazy passes do you have to throw before you realize the other team is jumping passing lanes?
How many times can you enter the ball to the elbow and have the passer just throw the ball away?
This is a bad emu squad, that used their last timeout with over 11 min left and Toledo still couldn’t put them away. Instead they absolutely **** the bed.

Hmmmm, I’d like to play devil’s advocate here. I’d like to, but I can’t. Spot on. We had everything going our way and got lazy and sloppy. We’re not quick enough to EVER play casually. Sad performance.

Rant over... If we stay patient and crisp we win going away. When they hit a shot they pick up the D intensity by 20%. Running down and chucking up contested threes or turning it over without all 5 guys touching it is not acceptable.
Wow those refs were bad. Inadvertant whistle counted as a jump ball change of possession? That's a new one.
They were killing me watching them throw the ball around and away.
One and done in the MAC tourney if this is the way this team is going to play.
I had a feeling this team was going to blow it after blowing it against Buffalo in front of a sell out Savage crowd.

Complete waste of a season per usual. This is entirely frustrating year after year.
Rather be 4-24 and not care about them.
The Buffalo game was a case of the Bulls matching up better one-on-one athletically;
The Eastern game was plain disgusting
That was the worst officiating I’ve ever seen in the Mac and that’s really saying something. But at the same time I’m not sure if I can keep up the amount of interest I have vested in this team with TK at the helm

Officiating was abysmal in spite of ESPN guys rambling on about what a great crew it was. When Jackson threw Thompson to the floor directly in front of the ref and no call it got to the point of comical.
Big Luke was a no show, fouling because can't stay with athletic big guys. Jaelan disappeared in this one as well. Needed both of them to step up and they didn't. Team give up 49 points in the 2nd half. Going home should be a win against NIU, but 2 straight on the road, hoping for 1 victory there, and win the last 2 at home to finished at 12-6, I hope. 11-7 would be unacceptable.

This is where I am. Just not that excited about any of our “revenue” sports anymore, as we generally don’t meet the hype. “Good enough” to have winning seasons has become the acceptable standard on Bancroft but we don’t seem interested in taking the next step (winning a bowl game, breaking into—and staying in—the top 25, etc...). So be it. I’ve stopped criticizing the play of our teams on this Board during games; heck, you may have noticed I now rarely even post on here at all. Next season, I’ll go to some select games to cheer on the Rockets but I’m not buying season tickets again for any of the sports. I’ve found it’s a lot easier being just a casual fan who doesn’t really get caught up in having expectations or “believing” anymore. If they win some games, great! If they ever get to the “big dance” again, fantastic! If not, life goes on.
Sanford, 4-14 from the field against EMU, has had quite a few poor shooting nights lately.

Not going to consistently win when your seniors no show or disappear for games, or even halves at a time.
The team is tired. Coach K insists on using 8 men. That is his pattern. By this time of the season many of the heavy minute guys are beat up. That is why we get leads and do not hold them. We are usually the better team but we run out of gas. At BGSU they have 10 guys who have gotten major minutes. Alderson got some time early but not much lately. Gordon and Hill are forgotten. Give each of these 3 guys 3 to 5 minutes each half and our key guys would have energy to finish games. These losses where we blew big leads should be blamed on the coach.
Fascinating that this season has played out to be a perfect
Opportunity to shine but really fallen apart. Even given the 0-2 vs. UB we still had the
Chance to end strong. It will be very interesting to see
What MOB does with MBB. We can’t use excuses this year. I agree with earlier suggestions
About interest fatigue coming into play. We deserve better... much better.
