Cajuns open the season 6-0 and finished the extended tournament weekend with a double-header sweep of PAC member Cal yesterday 7-1 and 7-3. From the Sun Belt website, it looks like Coastal, GS, and Troy also have winning weekends.

Big games coming up this week and weekend look like;
- Wednesday, GAST hosting Georgia Tech
- Friday, Troy hosting Missouri
- Saturday, ULM hosting Maryland, South AL hosting Tulsa, and UTA at Baylor
- Sunday, ULM at Houston
I only skimmed through scores on twitter back over the weekend, but it didn't look like we were doing overly great (as a conference).

We've got 6 teams with a losing record, which is high for us.
Yeah, wasn't so hot for us. (2-2) We're definitely missing Rupp.
1-3

And Ariel Ortiz
I think CCU is 4-1

I have to say I won't miss her nearly as much as you. We did pretty well against her during her time at TS, but she got us last year in the tournament. She was always a very tough match up. I have to say I wish she was on our team.

Last years regular season we won all our weekend series match ups, but lost some games we really shouldn't have. It was a tough year for our team and staff with the late coaching change. Early signs this year is we are back to normal.
mavs lost to #1 ucla 1-2 and to fresno state before beating saint mary's and gastate
We are still breaking even.....
We have been pretty aweful so far.
Troy did pretty well. We destroyed Maryland twice, and beat Murray State. The only two losses were to #7 Alabama... battled them hard in the first game, but they ran away with the second game.

Besides all of that, Troy had some great attendance. Could be another Top 50 national finish for Troy for attendance. We were #38 in the nation in avg. attendance last year.

Here was the attendance from the games over the weekend:

Feb 8 - Maryland - 1,067
Feb 8 - Alabama - 1,837
Feb 9 - Maryland - 926
Feb 9 - Murray State - 429
Feb 10 - Alabama - 1,852

That's great attendance.
I'm happy to see softball get supported at other schools around the league. This sport is becoming more and more important around the country. For the most part, we have some pretty good facilities in this league and that's great to see (looking at you, UTA).

The next step is to find a way to get recruits the caliber of Louisiana to buy in to the other schools in the league. It can be done. And, I hope it happens.
We’re 1-5 and we won’t play a home game until mid-March
App destroyed NC A&T in today's double header

0-15 in game one
0-12 in game two

Not a lot of people in the stands

Game 1: 93 in attendance
GAME 2: 113 in attendance

Lose to SHSU and USM but beat Baylor twice. Strange weekend but two great wins.
