Does she really want to eliminate all of these agencies, or is she too stupid to realize they fall under the scope of DHS?

I don't know, coupled with all of the other evidence, I think it may actually be door #3 -- she is outright compromised, and it is a primary goal of hers to make the USA less safe.

SCOTUS nominees' pasts are investigated too including high school activities. Surely a sitting menber of Congress should be scrutinized too if needed.

I don't think she's stupid. I think she has an agenda against the DHS. Gee, I wonder why a Muslim woman would feel that way if she was nice and secular like the Left wants us all to believe? Could it possibly be because she is radicalized?

And duly note here guys, she isn't just wanting to defund first line defenses, but also first responders and emergency aid relief. She not only would weaken us for an attack, but also gut our ability to respond with assistance to one.

She's a follower of Islam.
Her hatred for America is due to that far more than due to her being a democrat. She's just wise enough to realize that the Dems will give her a platform which she can use to try to weaken America.

She is not stupid. She knows exactly what she is doing. I would put good money that if someone did a through investigation into her, they'd find all types of links to terrorism. But again, she's smart. I'm sure a cursory investigation would find her clean as a whistle.

The defunding of government institution started with The Libertarian party which is part of The Republican. What we need to do to stop the wasteful spending is to stop the pork barrel spending in each department. Yes, there are wasteful spending in our arm forces. Those wasteful spending should help our troops, and not lining the pockets of politicians an the private sectors.
