I did find it very humorous that he tweeted yesterday about supporting Sun Herald with a digital subscription and how he'd give great Southern Miss coverage we could count on, then follows that up with the smear article against Jay. I know he was just regurgitating what The Athletic article said, but you'd think if you're wanting to sell subscriptions to the Southern Miss fanbase, you don't just trash their coach like that.

That was what i was going for with the satire of my post. It felt like he was trying to bribe people by saying "if enough of you subscribe to the digital edition (and make sure you include my name when paying) I WILL THEN start giving you great coverage"

Maybe I’ve missed it but I’ve seen him do almost nothing on this other than summarize national writers’ reports.

If anything, I’ve always found him, Munz, and others far too wary about rocking the boat.
