Can't recall being to a game in which the lines weren't long. Could be Toledo's sheepster, non-discerning nature or could be inefficiencies at the concessions. Most likely a bit of both. I've seen enough people at those games cough up for congealed pizza to think, lowering prices will not increase profits at a UT game. They have shown no ability to meet an increased product flow.
But these aren't things we haven't said here for years. The university is rife with good'ol boy hires, regardless talent and it shows. We can't even get a new Defensive scheme, how could we hope for improvement in operations? Change starts at the top. Until the top is willing to let people go, move others along and bring in new ideas and force them to be heard and implemented with enthusiam; congealed pizza, congealed academics.
First steps would be to improve concessions quality and operations. Once they can move the product so that fans do not have to miss an entire quarter of play in order to get a slice, then maybe adjusting prices so blue-collar familes can enjoy the atmosphere will work.
