Hoops? Many moons ago, they knocked us out at the Hall in a first round SoCon game after we beat them twice during the regular season.

We play 2 games against FBS opponents. This solves our recruiting budget mystery as I was wondering on so many out of state offers.

That is great news and kudos to making it happen if it is truly set. I think the last time we had two FBS games was 1988...UVA and Georgia...but I may be wrong. Just going off memory.

Navy and UNC in 1991. Beat Navy and lost to UNC.

Great to get the 12th game, as well as, the additional money, but the downside is it does not put us in position for an additional FCS win for post season consideration. Guess we'll have to put a stain on Houston's inaugural season.

I mostly agree with this. However, not knowing what options were there, I certainly prefer getting some $$ for the new crew rather than playing sub D-I or no game at all.

Surprised we didn't get Lehigh. They are open on Sept. 21 and have only 11 games.

We may be witnessing the next generation of scheduling strategy

I like the money aspect and the aggressiveness. I just hope that we are not walking wounded going into conference play.

This is the precursor to moving up!
