The release of this years schedule at Riverside has a few new items.
Along with the annual Hooker Hood Classic, Jimmy Huffman Memorial and Cody Burks Memorial, the World of Outlaws, ASCS and USCS sprints also return this year for Sprint Car special events.
New additions to the schedule are the Greg Hodnett Memorial, honoring the former Memphis driver who died in a racing incident this past year.
And something very new to the track, as Riverside will host a two night Monster Truck event on June 21st and 22nd.
The All Star Late Models will visit twice this season and the All Star Modifieds will also do battle in their own special event.
The track will run its regular classes of 305 Wing Sprints, Limited Late Models, Modifieds, Stocks and 600 micro sprints. Along with at least one visit this year by a group of Mod Lites for an exhibition race night.
The 70th season of racing at RIS should be an exciting one.
