House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md, says "Sure" when asked if Trump can deliver SOTU, despite Pelosi's obstruction and objections

Who says SOTU has to be done in the House? Why not invite President Trump to give SOTU in the Senate, and since it is a smaller chamber, just have the GOP Reps and Senators there, with some invited media, guests, Supremes and some public and then, set up a screen for the Dems to watch the feed in a half-empty House and a feed to the rest of the liberal media. Problem solved. Sure, no Prez since Washington has been to the Senate, but if Dems want to force change of traditions, let's change traditions.

By the way, some people have kicked around the idea that Trump should just show up at the House and take it over for his SOTU. There's a problem with that. The Sergeant at Arms of the House is possibly the only person that has the right to arrest the President. If Pelosi instructs him to clear the President, he's is authorized to arrest the President if needed to do so.

Why doesn't he just go to SE Ohio or Eastern Kentucky and do the SOTU 'rally style' with Ted Nugent, Kid Rock, Sean Hannity and Steve King on the undercard.

That school doesn't need any scrutiny. They even banned the valedictorian from speaking at graduation a couple of years ago because he is Gay.

I really don't think anyone cares. The SOTU used to be a big deal, but now there are so many ways for the president to address the nation that it's just a boring speech done for the sake of tradition.

Pelosi is just doing it to bug Trump, who is the only person that likes the SOTU.

Just kill it. Republicans hate it, Democrats hate it. It would go out with a whimper and it's some we could do together as an American people.
