A Tiger target. Here's a recent article about him. Memphis mentions in it.

He says Penny is one of his idols. WOW.
I love his aggression.
We made his final 10

we are seemingly recruiting against many of the same programs since 1Cent came on as coach
Sweet
This was the kid I brought up in the UPDATED RIVALS 2020 RANKINGS post.

Appears to be an Adidas kid from Texas who had family members (dad and grandad?) who played at Texas. He trains there frequently. Seems to be an uphill climb. That being said, in Penny we trust.

Good news is there are only two Adidas schools on his list and one of those is having trouble recruiting but it's Kansas and we all know that won't be a concern for long. Bad news is the underlying relationship with Texas will be hard for anyone to overcome, but at least we are in there.

100% agree.

Next year is going to be pivotal in memphis recruiting going forward. If the team gels quickly and make noise then we'll definitely starting landing these type of prospects.

Mess around and knock off some blue bloods a la Auburn next year's tourney and the rest will be history

Next year I’ll be happy with a Sweet 16. But 2020-2021 with a seasoned and tournament experienced group and young stars like this guy and Jalen Green and we won’t be crazy to have high hopes.

I’d actually like to play next season before putting a cap or restrictions on how far we can or can’t go. We don’t know the final roster and nor do we know how well we can come together. I won’t be shocked at any level of success. I like the guys we have and I’m extremely optimistic.
Definitely trending up’rds.

I’m just being realistic. How often does a team of freshmen and sophomores with zero tournament experience along with a coaching staff with zero tournament experience see the Final 4? Not making the tournament at all would be a disappointment and making the 2nd weekend would be a huge success. This is based off having the #1 overall recruit and how that team normally fares based on history.

Plus the one dominant truth on all of the final 4 teams is that the guard play has to be spectacular. We can only hope Alo and Tyler can be what the small guards at Auburn are when they are seniors. That being said, they won't be seniors next year so guard play is the biggest factor in how good and how far next year's team will go. I can't and won't expect our guards regardless of who they are to be spectacular every game next year. Look at Ashton Hagans who had a great year but with the 7 TO yesterday, he might need to declare for the draft to escape the wrath of Kentucky fans. Look at Duke and how their freshman guards wasn't able to get a simple entry pass into Zion Williamson multiple times in a close game. That was a factor in losing the game. I hope if next year doesn't pan out the way some think, we don't treat Alo and Tyler or anyone else on the team the way Kentucky fans are. Having the most talent doesn't always guarantee winning.
