Game one of a three game road trip. We’re favored by 8 but I’m expecting a close contest.
Monday 4:00 in Charlotte: Charlotte (5-12, 2-4 CUSA). ESPN+

Results to date: Chattanooga (69-80); Oklahoma St (66-64); JMU (59-64); Longwood (42-39); Davidson (56-76); C of C (64-72); Wake Forest (56-80); ECU (55-49); TCU (57-82); Rhode Island (61-75); Colorado (53-68); WKU (50-68); Marshall (84-85); FIU (66-69); FAU (65-60); S Miss (60-63); La Tech (55-40).

Last game: In a sluggish contest, Charlotte stumbled to a 23-20 lead @HT, then used an early 9-0 run to get separation while their Defense smothered La Tech for a 55-40 win in Charlotte. La Tech was held to 15-54 FG (1-23 3s) including an 11+ min stretch without any FGs. Cooper Robb led the 49ers with 12 pts (4-6 FG, 3-4 3s) and Malik Martin had 10.

Stats: 59.9 pts (vs 66.7); .415 FG (.312 3s); .748 FT; -1.1 RB; A/TO= 0.6

Starters (La Tech)
F Milos Supica (6-9 220 So). 25.2 min.; .550 FG; .673 FT; 5.2 RB; 8.4 pts
G Brandon Young (6-7 185 Fr). 25.1 min.; .406 FG (12-34 3s); .783 FT; 3.5 RB; 6.6 pts
G Jon Davis (6-3 200 Sr). 37.2 min.; .416 FG (37-110 3s); .677 FT; 5.0 RB; 3.6 assists; 20.9 pts
G Jaylan McGill (6-2 205 So). 24.5 min.; .438 FG (13-36 3s); .571 FT; 1.6 RB; 4.5 pts
G Cooper Robb (6-1 180 Fr). 26.0 min.; .407 FG (12-32 3s); .364 FT; 3.0 RB; 6.4 pts

Bench
G Malik Martin (6-6 205 Fr). 31.2 min.; .392 FG (9-41 3s); .763 FT; 4.2 RB; 1.5 steals; 8.8 pts (11 starts)
C Jailan Haslem (6-10 260 Sr). 13.9 min.; .556 FG; .125 FT; 3.5 RB; 2.7 pts

Poor record, but have played their last 5 CUSA opponents tough. Limited size constrains them inside, but TOs have killed them this year (15.3/g) as opponents avg 18.4 pts off TOs (net 9.5 pts). Jon Davis can ball.
Would be awesome to get a streak going here and carry that on for a while. Go monarchs!
Pissed that this game is at 4pm, I havent missed a game at charlotte in a long time. But on the bright side, there wont be many people there so it wont be much of a home court advantage for Charlotte.

Somehow they are not as bad as you might think.

Not your run-of-the-mill bottom 200 team. Hopefully our guys show up to play. Should be a low scoring game with Charlotte also having UVA-defensive backgrounds, right? First one to 40 wins?
60-55 good guys
What's the weather report?
Giggity. We're wearing the throwbacks today.

Ice Cold shooting !
Another slow offensive start. 03-yawn
This game has the potential to be an egg laying game for the Monarchs. Same old offense that teams have figured out.
I guess Kithcart is back in JJ's doghouse?

This is teams figuring out our offense?

Marshall 1.14 ppp
WKY 1.01 ppp
FAU 1.14 ppp
FIU 0.99 ppp
LT 0.94 ppp
SM 1.24 ppp

I hate to see those teams when they don't figure out our offense.
I forgot how excited Ted Alexander gets when the other team hits a 3.
We're hard to watch. Nothing ever looks easy.
You get a T for looking at another player?
Dajour gets a technical foul after blocking shot with 2 seconds on the shot clock.
That T was total BS!!
What the Hell am I watching?

I guess the ODU Players don't like the 4:00 start either.
Between Ted Alexander and our team this is unbearable.
