Don't kid yourself, the democrat party here in the USA thinks the same way, they're just a bit more clever at hiding it.

and they have a strategy to deal with it.

When the people vote for something they don't like, they simply find a like-minded activist judge and sue.

That's what they did when state after state overwhelmingly passed traditional marriage amendments at the ballot box.

Not so much anymore. They and their supporters routinely make fun of working class people. During Clinton Admin Dems had a 17 point advantage with them, now the GOP has a 17 point advantage. This according to Pew who seems lefty to me.

You have to take pause at the rarefied hubris and total lack of self awareness that this statement represents. Loosely translated it reads, I have a right to decide because I am wealthier than you. In that regard it is a lot like the corporate elite here who feign to love the poor only to leverage them to dispossess the middle class.

This is why the “smart” people on the left coastS will call for the abolishment of the electoral college and eventually elections all together.
Many, many working class people make life or death decisions in their work place every day. How many panty waisted office and government workers can claim that?

And live in the real world without walls around our mansions and armed security guards around us at all times.
But somehow us wanting guns for protection is bad... and us wanting a boarder wall is also bad.

And unlike the education system and those government workers the only raises the working class gets are merit based, or bonus earned. The rest of the world doesn't live off of the C.O.L.A.s like the bureaucrats do. But the working class has to produce more every year so the bureaucrats can get their Cost of Living Adjustments in spite of their inefficiencies, foot-dragging, and hyper sense of entitlement.
This mindset is prevalent among the left
