I'd actually like to see Coaches in all sports get ejected for acting like asses without even a first warning. If they have something to say, say it without yelling, screaming, and all the histrionics.

Sure, the refs are gonna blow some calls. Let the fans have the aneurysms and let the coach have a professional 'discussion' with the ref. Chew that ass in private AFTER the quarter, half, game, whatever.

Agree 450. Some refs are so concerned about losing control of the game, or giving the impression of being shown up, that they overreact.

Who isn't entertained when the opposing coaches get after each other a little bit?

Penny can't act that way. It's not his nature and if he acted like Dan or Cal he would be negatively stigmatized whereas people celebrates Dan's "passion" and "competitiveness" Frank and Penny have to let people know because they are not punks because they are mild mannered.

Concur
I don't see where Haith did much of anything. Maybe to cause the first T, sure, but after that he pretty much just stood there when the second T was given. He had much more composure during the whole thing than the refs or Hurley.

Two coaches have a heated disagreement and get T's. Then things settle down and they go to shake hands and both get ejected and it is the coaches who are being jerks???????

Another example of piss poor AAC officials who think they are the game.

Tell me how is josh doing?

Clearly you are unaware that Hurley is high strung. Gets into a lot yelling matches. Go look him up.

You are right. I looked it up and found this on him being a jerk.
That whole Hurley/Haith episode was strange. I never did see the second T's get called. Weird. Huge over-reaction by the zebras.

a second ref came in and did it, it was quick and easy to miss.

You haven’t watched him coach. He gets into screaming matches often. But since you insist he doesn’t have a history of being a jerk, lets call him a swell guy.

I’ve watched Hurley coach several games, even before he took the job at UConn. He frequently gets into screaming matches with either refs, or someone from other team. So, I’ll stand by my opinion that he’s a jerk. Was he unfairly thrown out of the game vs Tulsa? I believe so. Does that mean he hasn’t been a jerk several times in the past? No.
