Thanks
I guess they couldn't find a taller stool for Wolo to stand on.
It appears Wingett will receive a medical redshirt.

Gary Parrish was speculating that he may have to transfer because the players we bring in are only going to get better. I'm really rooting for this kid.

This kid will not see the court next year in any way. But if the incoming freshman are all they have been hyped to be, then they will be gone in one, maybe two years. Then, if Wingett has patience to wait he might be ready get some PT.
yeah funny knowing Penny is 6'7 and Wolo is up to his nose, so I guess that makes Wolo 6'2 now.

He will see time in all of our blowouts. LOL Then again the way Penny like to schedule, we will see a lot a marquee games next year.
Good stuff.
I find it extremely disturbing that Penny keeps calling ALo the best "on the ball" defender.

Clearly, we aren't watching the same player. I know Penny is bias concerning ALo, I am not. ALo is a terrible on the ball defender. Unless getting beat off the dribble, then running behind his man slapping at the ball is what Penny considers a great on the ball defender.

I am shocked, SHOCKED. I was certain Wolo was as tall as Penny, he is the same height as Mike Norvel.

I think Penny is trying to speak this into existence, like he does with Jayden. He's says that Jayden should be the best 3 point shooter in the nation but currently he's not the best 3 point shooter on the team. He's speaking in terms of what he wants those players to become to see time on the floor.

Yeah, I wouldn't get too excited about those hyperbolic comments - I certainly wouldn't let it disturb me. I think every coach employs public comments as motivation to some degree.

We can all see the bulldog tendencies of A-lo. By all accounts he is coachable, fearless, and a team player who does not care about individual stats. All the ingredients to becoming the best defender when he figures a few things out.

Or Maybe he is the best defender in the practices that Penny sees and we do not.

But I do agree that is seems that Penny is biased towards Alo especially seeing how long it took for Brewton to pass him in the lineup
