I hate seeing news like this. Thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends

Hate to hear that. We've had several former players' deaths recently, more than any of us would like. It's never easy, and it almost always seems to be guys that were exceptional men as well as players.

I offer my condolences to the Bobcat family.

Yup, I'm getting absolutely sick of hearing about this.

Stevens father and I are good friends. He called me Sunday afternoon with the news and it crushed my wife and I. We are heading to Texas for the funeral. This is a crushing blow to his family and friends along with the Texas St. Family.

Obituary if anyone cares to read it . I couldn't get through the tribute video. Made my heart hurt.
