He could be a little more aggressive offensively, but overall I agree.

Heh, MAC was pretty bad this year and he won the championship by 1 point.

He also lost three of his last four games and got destroyed by yet another mid-major in a bowl game to make his bowl record 0-6.

Our offense is in the bottom 10 of the country and we've plateaued under Carey. Time to move on...

Honestly, he is a very intriguing head coach. I wonder what he could do at NIU which is an easier place to recruit and coach.

I don't necessarily think we should hire him at this time, but i think if he keeps progressing the EMU program he won't be around much longer. He took one of the most difficult jobs and has turned it around. There have been many who have been unsuccessful at EMU before him.

Providing Coach Creighton and staff have EMU bowl eligible next year he and his staff can look for a nice payday. $$$$$. I agree 22-40 isn't going to excite the alumni and fans especially if there are big $$$ involved. The other downside is that Creighton's MAC recruiting rankings have been in the lower third. People love PJ Fleck who consistently brought in top rated classes.
