I did go to a Troy State game around 1992 but never went in, It was a bad rain storm, I was in High School visiting my big sis her Freshman year with my parents and they didn't want to go in. :(

First

Football: I was a kid, and it was during the 80s. My friend's dad took us to a UCF football game, but I cannot remember which one it was. I want to say the year was 1981 or 1982.

Last

Baseball: May 14, 2004 - UCF's 12-3 win over Mercer on Senior Night.
First...Freshman year of 1986...back when Slack and Lanham were slinging balls to the likes of Bernard Ford, Ted Wilson and Sean Jefferson was a freshman. Can't remember the teams we played then...DIIA schedule!

Last...UCF vs. Troy State baskeball this past season.

The big one.

I was there. 03-wink
Yeah, that Troy St. game had a great environment...that's what I envision our arena being like for most CUSA games!! Was a pretty cool night...my father drove over from the coast and we took my 2 year old son...his first Knight basketball game! He had a blast. Hopefully he will enjoy the football games this year...my wife and I are planning on bringing him and our 5 year old daughter to the games this year!

I was there as well. I was in the upper level. My girlfriend felt a bit seasick. Those bleachers swayed from all the extra people up there that night. It royally sucks that we lost the game, but the number of people that showed up was awesome.
I wish we did win that one for the home crowd. The swaying of the upper level is rather frightening, but it adds character to the place. Ill miss it when they build the new arena - maybe they should include bouncing, shifting funhouse floors to a couple of the upper level seats - for a nostalgic effect. 03-wink

I don't think any of us are THAT nostalgic . . . .
